Here is an article on Obesity. I hope you find the information useful!

Obesity is having an excess of body fat. Usually anyone who is at least 20 percent over the normal weight for their height, weight and age is considered obese today. I am sure if you look around today there are plenty of us to see.

The average body has 30 to 40 billion fat cells and the extra calories we consume are simply stored for energy. The only problem with this is we never seem to use up that extra storage of cells and they just keep accumulating. The more fat we accumulate the more we start crowding in our internal organs and needless to say this puts stress on our bodies’ causing all kinds of serious health issues.
We all have our own tale about how we got this way and why we stay this way, even in spite of our efforts to try to lose weight. Is it just plain inactivity? Is it simply keeping on shoveling in the good stuff using it as our pacifier to cope with problems, but never solving them? Do we blame it on others and just beat ourselves up by keeping on eating? It may be any one of these reasons, but let’s get down to the nit and grit of it.

I think we need to really change our mindset, once and for all. What took our peace away within ourselves? Something did. Think about it. Someone or some situation we couldn’t deal with is still there and instead of facing up to it, we just keep burying it inside and eating away. When we are peaceful within, nothing needs to be hidden anymore and we actually may start loving ourselves again.

Well maybe it is time self love takes front and center stage. Love yourself and you will want to take good care of yourself. No one can do this for you. No one can get rid of that storage of fat you have accumulated, but yourself. Think of it, as well, maybe like cleaning out your closet. We do clean out the closet and get rid of things we no longer need, so why do we keep this storage of fat on us? We simply need to tell ourselves we no longer need this storage and start to burn up some of those calories by getting moving and start eating right so we don’t keep on this viscous cycle of fat accumulation. It is a new mindset to think about. I love me! In this moment I am peaceful! I will continue to keep emptying out my storage of fat, because I don’t need it anymore. I will get up off my duff and get moving to keep on burning up that excess storage of energy I have accumulated.
This works, I have done it. I started walking and exercising and taking care of me and I will never go back to the old me. The more I keep moving, the more I look forward to it, and my appetite actually decreases. I will just keep moving, doing, to let the past go and look forward to the new me! My storage days are over and I hope yours are too!
