What causes a lack of energy, if we are disease free? Many factors should be considered such as depression, trauma and/or worries. Sometimes we are in situations that drain our energy from us and we simply need to try to change them if we can.

One reason we lack energy is because we don’t produce any energy. The more we sit, or the more we sleep, the more our body wants to sit and sleep. Try to get some energy going by taking a brisk walk or doing some exercises that will help to produce energy. Even if you simply stretch for just five minutes daily, it can make you feel better simply because you got your blood circulating.

Another tip that can help to produce some energy is to start looking forward to something…anything. It can be as simple as shopping, visiting a friend, dinner out, a movie or planning a trip. If we have nothing to look forward to, then we need to find something to look forward to. That will help us get moving. Don’t isolate yourself from others. Try to find something that you can contribute to a cause. To have friends you have to be a friend

Maybe you feel paralyzed by a past trauma or loss in your life. Well now is the time you need to make peace with it. Find a way to put the past behind you and let it go. Take a deep, deep breath and say to yourself I am now looking forward to my new life. You will feel a renewal of energy coming into your spirit. You cannot keep living and dwelling on past problems because it will drain your energy. You should try to keep busy by doing something positive for yourself.

Be good to yourself. We have all heard that line before. It starts with YOU. Start your day by practicing good personal hygiene, shower, clean clothing, etc. Even listening to music that you like will produce good positive energy. Feel free to be happy..smile!
One last tip that can help with more energy is by removing the clutter in your home. Get rid of old stuff and papers. They suffocate the energy in your environment. You will feel so much better about waking up everyday in a home that is in order and clutter free. Feel the clean, take a deep breath! Putting some plants in your home is very nurturing to the soul and good for your environment.
